Reclaimed Wood Sun Catcher

Handmade unique reclaimed Pine and Cedar fence wood sun catchers are adorned with a natural semi-rough stone.

Our sun catcher will make a great addition to your car's rear view mirror or any window in your home/office/sacred space.

Meant to give the illusion of a crescent moon, each wood piece is personally and carefully cut out of Pine and Cedar naturally weathered fence wood. The 20mm (about 1" from top to bottom) glass tear drop crystal will produce dozens of little rainbows when it catches the sun. Each piece is accompanied by either Smoky Quartz, Clear Quartz, Selenite, Labradorite or Black Tourmaline (more options to come and also dependent on availability).

All stones are semi-rough meaning they are not fully smooth or fully rough cut. Each stone is encased in macrame netting using nylon cord. Matching nylon cord is provided to tie the sun catcher to your rear view mirror or nail/hook in a window. It's left a little long so you can decide what length you’d like for it to be and can trim the excess.

Each sun catcher is approximately 2 5/8” (+/-) from side to side and approximately 5 1/2” (+/-) from top to bottom.

The natural weathered wood sun catchers have not been sealed because sealant changes the color of the wood. These sun catchers would be best kept inside. The few that have been sanded (Option 1, Option 2 and Option 9) have been sealed with matte polyurethane. The edge has been sanded smooth.

No two sun catchers will be the same due to the nature of the wood. Each stone is intuitively picked and matched with its sun catcher and therefore cannot be changed or swapped.

Sun catchers are sold as is. More options will be made available once the current options are sold out.
